Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.<br /> Function: Nursing<br /> Family: Nursing<br /> Level: Registered Nurse (RN)<br /> FLSA: Non-Exempt<br /> JOB REQUIREMENTS<br /> Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree (BSN): Preferred<br /> Minimum Work ExperienceAcute care facility experience: Preferred<br /> Required LicensesRegistered Nurse<br /> Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required<br /> Other<br /> Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: RequiredRefer to the Required Licenses and Certifications list for additional job and/or unit specific requirements.<br /> Required SkillsRefer to Job Analysis #01A for details regarding additional ability requirements. This department provides triage treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting. If the department is designated as a trauma site the hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients is included. However the hours and expenses related to the administration and support of the Trauma program and it's services (i.e. Trauma registry trauma coordinators) should not be included here. NCI Required. Moderate Sedation Training required. Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
