(This is one of three 0.8 FTE ADT RN positions related to the OHA Grant)<br /> 0.8 4 8- hour shifts per week - Flexibility to cover majority of admits and discharges - Most likely Monday-Friday with the potential for some weekend shifts as need. sometime between 8-8.<br /> Admit - admit history , tucked in to bed, initial assessment - hand off to assigned RN (could happen in ED if patient boarding or pending bed).<br /> Discharge - could start day prior, with education, prep. Day of, dc lines, get dressed, education, etc. interdisciplinary coordination, PT clearance.<br /> Transfer - Internal transfers from CDU or ICU to med-surg, situation into room, skin check, basic assessment.<br /> May be asked to assist floors throughout house during down times, depending caseload may be required to keep patients a little longer or take an assignment as staffing requires.<br /> Not required for floor nurses.<br /> May be required to flex to the unit to assist or take a patient assignment depending on staffing needs Shift Info: Day 4x8-Hour (09:00 - 05:00)
