<strong>Travel- RN- L&D (703) / 7A-7P / 13 weeks</strong><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Data Collection :<br /> <br /> Unit Information : L&D<br /> <br /> Location: Womans Hospital of Texas/HCA Healthcare<br /> <br /> Address: 7600 Fannin Houston, Texas 77054<br /> Floor : 3 rd Floor<br /> <br /> Building: Main Hospital<br /> <br /> General Information<br /> <br /> Tell us about the unit (s) :<br /> <br /> • Number of Beds - 35<br /> <br /> • Number of Staff - 160<br /> <br /> • Type of staff :<br /> • Day Shift - 2 charge nurses, 24 RNs, 5 Surgical Techs, 1 OR Aide, 1 Transport Tech, 1 Sec retary , 1 scheduler<br /> <br /> • Night Shift - 2 charge nurses, 21 RNs, 4 Surgical Techs, 1 OR Aide, 1 Sec retary<br /> <br /> • Patient Ratios - 1:1 /2:1 laboring, 2:1 APU, 2:1 PACU<br /> <br /> • Type of equipment - Hill-Rom birthing beds, Alaris IV pump, GE core metrics FM, Panda warmer, CADD Solis epidural pumps, NOVI wireless FM<br /> <br /> • EMR - CPN (centricity), Meditech<br /> <br /> Typical hiring profile<br /> <br /> Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)<br /> <br /> Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.<br /> <br /> • AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring<br /> <br /> • BLS, ACLS, NRP<br /> <br /> • <strong> RN needs to be skilled in working in the L&D, and L&D OR setting circulating C/Sections, assisting with resuscitation infants after delivery, working in the PACU setting and transitioning babies during recovery.
