RN does phlebotomy. Tech does EKG s. RN or transport will transport patients. Additional Unit Specific Information: Midwifery service provides 30-35% of deliveries. Some midwife patients are also high risk, must be comfortable circulating in OR. SVE skill not required, nurses do no place internal monitors. Best fit traveler: Will have excellent communication skills & teamwork approach, able to adapt to wide diversity of environments & situations, able to care for complex, complicated patients, team approach jumps in to help in emergencies, focuses on patient/customer satisfaction, thrives in busy fast-paced environment, able to communicate efficiently in emergency, ACLS preferred, must be able to collaborate with neonatology team. Taylor, 4th floor Chicago, IL 60612 # of Needs: 3 TYPE OF CONTRACT ( FT/PT) FULL TIME Desired Start Date: ASAP # of Weeks: 13 weeks Shift: 1 contract needed for Evenings - 11a-11:30p Schedule will included EVERY OTHER WEEKEND!!!! Bill Rate: $140/hr Details: Minimum 2 years L&D experience RN s will be required to float to Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and Antepartum. PLEASE only submit if your nurse is comfortable floating to all 3 areas. BLS, ACLS and NRP certification REQUIRED Epic experience preferred Profile & Interview requirements: Profile required(resume with no gaps in employment, skills checklist, references) with cover sheet. Interview will be completed with Cross Country interview services. RN will be required to complete a short digital interview if they are a fit for the position. Link to the complete the interview will be sent directly to your nurse. Orientation/Access: Your RN will be required to complete an Epic Assessment through the UIC LMS before charting access can be granted. If they have no Epic experience, they will also need to complete online training for Epic before completing the assessment. This MUST be completed before they start and is not offered at the hospital. The entire process can take up to 10 days once initiated. Please keep that in mind that your RN s start date will be delayed if this is not done when requested.
