The test is closed book, proctored, and has a 60 minute time limit reduced rate for local travelers will apply<br /> Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years<br /> Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: No<br /> Epic charting experience required!<br /> Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6<br /> Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics<br /> Medication System: Pyxis<br /> Documentation system: EPIC (experience required)<br /> Communication: SBAR<br /> Required Certs: ACLS, BCLS, Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse, ADN (BSN preferred), NIH<br /> Required Skills: Telemetry, Central line management, Peripheral IV Insertion, Post cardiac cath recovery, Managing central lines, Feeding tubes<br /> Preferred Skills: CAPD, Charge (Night shift), Post pacemaker recovery<br /> Patient Diagnoses: 4 East is a 31 bed (17 private 14 semi private) Adult primary Cardiac Unit - serving patients with cardiac diagnoses as well as medical surgical overflow. Common patient types include pre and post cardiac catheterization recovery, pre and post pacemaker/biventricular device insertion, Stroke, Atrial Arrhythmias (IV Cardizem IV Amiodarone) IV Heparin for MI, Stroke, PE/DVT and Vascular patients. The test is closed book, proctored, and has a 60 minute time limit<br /> Special Procedures/Unit Details: As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the 4 East Registered Nurse provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses with a specialization in cardiac patients, cardiac invasive procedures and telemetry monitoring. The registered nurse successfully completes a competency based orientation program to become proficient in serving the 4 East patient population.<br /> Special Equipment: Nihon Kohden Cardiac Monitoring System, Telemetry Monitoring, Bedside Cardiac Monitoring *Travelers are not considered if they have been a former employee at any facility associated with Solution Health Shift Info: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
