St Vincent Medical Center<br /> Trauma Level 2 Facility<br /> Unit Name: ER<br /> Facility Beds: 523<br /> Unit Beds: 58<br /> Prior travel is required (1 assign/or has worked in other large ED’s)<br /> Minimum of 2 years clinical experience and 2 year in specialty from a large sized hospital<br /> <br /> Certifications Required: BLS/ACLS/ PALS or ENPC, NIHSS<br /> Certifications Preferred: TNCC, CEN<br /> Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 all shifts<br /> General Hospital Orientation: Typically 3, includes EPIC EMR review/training<br /> Scrubs/color: Blue via exchange machine, closed toe, minimal jewelry, and no nail enhancements, no bright colors or chips<br /> <br /> Documentation System: EPIC<br /> Medication System: Pyxis<br /> Floating required to other PHS Oregon hospitals as needed - Travelers are the 1st to float<br /> Holiday Requirements: Yes, 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and most other holidays as well<br /> Call Requirements: No<br /> Weekend Requirements: Yes, every other weekend<br /> Managers will work with the traveler to assure needs are covered<br /> <br /> Patient Population: Patients seen in per month - 7,500, per day - 250 / Average length of stay in ER: 204 min average / for admits 234 min.
