- General job duties. Types of procedures required.<br />
SMH Main OR services 23 operating suites for all specialties including neuro, ortho and trauma. Nurse is responsible for circulating surgical cases in conjunction with surgery team (surgical tech, CRNA, surgeon, etc.), electronic chart documentation, communication with families, collaboration with multiple different disciplines.<br />
- Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)<br />
Electronic Health Record - Cerner System, Surginet and T-Doc instrumentation system.<br />
DaVinci Robot, Rosa Knee Robot, Medtronic Stealth Navigation, microscopes, and a variety of surgical beds and other surgical devices<br />
- Required skills and minimum years of experience.<br />
At least 1 year of experience in OR setting, level 1 trauma experience required<br />
- Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)<br />
Current IL license required as well as BLS, CNOR preferred<br />
- Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)<br />
All shifts (day, evening, night)<br />
Weekend rotation is expected. On call requirements are applicable.<br />
Employee will always work with a surgical team including a surgical tech or another RN that scrubs.<br />

Possess skillset necessary to take call at a level 1 trauma center & willing to do so? (required)<br />

Hospital rate: $150.00 , OT/CB: $157.00 , CHol: $225.00 , OC: $8.00 AP rate: $142.50 , AP OT/CB: $149.15 , AP Hol: $213.75 , AP OC: $7.60 40 hours/week; 0700-1500; One evening/night of call per week, option of a weekend obligation of call or work per month if needed (this would include 2 shifts/call obligations in that weekend), and when a holiday falls in the work week will fulfill hours on remaining days as no holidays are required **They currently do not have a post-call policy in place. They do try to get the person relieved as soon as possible.<br />
