  • 1-2 years of recent, active experience in your area of specialty
  • An active nursing license or other appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • An adventurous spirit with a desire to share skills and acquire new ones

However, many positions simply require you be a nurse in good standing, with a great attitude and active in your specialty.
