Wound vacs in conjunction with wound care<br /> • Documentation system: Meditech<br /> • Scheduling requirements: every other weekend requirement for contract, 3 12 hour shifts a week<br /> • Floating policy: may have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors<br /> • Patient Experience requirements: hourly rounding on days, every 2 hour rounding on nights, AIDET and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor. Dept 633 has tv communication boards.<br /> <strong>Hospital Specifics- </strong><br /> • Certifications: BLS, ACLS<br /> <br /> <strong>Hiring profile </strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Requested Skill Set: </strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Must have </strong> : Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills.<br /> <br /> <strong>Advanced skills needed: ACLS. Experience with bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems. Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred. Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes. </strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Procedures performed on unit: </strong> Peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, dobhoff/NG tube insertions, central line dressing changes.
