Something savory

Great Italian food is a must have while you’re on assignment and Vito Ristorante is home to high-quality, authentic Italian food. They have a ton of amazing wines to try too! Vito’s is a great family-owned local restaurant that people in the area swear by. Take a look at some of their reviews.

“We just landed from a week-long vacation and we didn’t even go home first. We stopped at Vito’s for the best food around. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. Well we have had 90% of the menu and have never had a bad bite. Kathy and her staff are some of the warmest and most inviting people to be around. I’m Italian and this is the only Italian that I like outside of my little hometown.” -Shaun S.

“The best Italian food in town. The pesto sauce was incredible!!! The owner Cathy is an amazing woman and all the staff was wonderful too. Totally going back there again.” -Kinza R.

“Wow!! This place is just amazing, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was so good, I sadly didn’t have any room for dessert. Before eating here, I was not a fan of muscles but they have changed me. We got one of the specials that included muscles with fettuccine; I tried one and I can’t believe how delicious and tender they were. Our other food was equally delicious. You will not be disappointed.” -Brook R.

Something sweet

For a great dessert in Oklahoma City try Pie Junkie. They take pie pretty seriously and they do it well. The number of flavors and options at Pie Junkie are endless. You can grab a bite right from the store or take and bake yourself. They sell their own delicious Maple Bourbon Whipped Cream and, of course, traditional whipped cream for those of us that like the classics.

The store was opened by two moms that shared a love for homemade pie and turned that passion into a local sensation. You’ll have to stop and grab a bite (and bring some to us too…). Their reviews say it all!

“Best pie place in 2 states! Have yet to find a better pie place and always have to make a trip when in OK bc they are unlike any other! The staff works their little booties off especially around the holidays for their customers making thousands of pies during November and beyond! I am continually impressed with the staff’s customer service and the quality of each and every pie!” -Theresa F.

“If you like pie, this is the place for YOU! My go to is their amazing Key Lime Pie that has a graham cracker macadamia nut crust…to DIE for! Ask for the fresh whipped cream to go on top! The Drunken turtle, Strawberry pie, peanut butter pie, Coconut cream pie, the list goes on & on. They even sell delicious pot pies you can take home and bake!!!” -Alecia S.

“I might have a pie problem. Their pies are full and flavorful. If you are in Plaza you should definitely stop by and grab a slice…or three.” -Allison R.
