Where to eat in Greenville, South Carolina: The Pita House

The Pita House serves authentic Middle Eastern food & even has groceries. Keep in mind, it’s cash only! They bake fresh homemade pita bread daily and sell their food by the pound! It’s definitely one of those local places you have to visit before you leave. They have some big fans too!

“Phenomenal place! Family owned, delicious, homemade food. The owners treat you like family. The Turkish coffee with cardamom is the BEST! And I am not a coffee drinker. Looking forward to returning soon.”
Colleen S.

“This is my go-to place when I don’t want to cook. Mediterranean style pita sandwiches and Gyros. Greek fries…my Granddaughter loves. Fast service and a rewards program that gives you free food. Cute place; friendly staff.”
Rhonda R.

“I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is absolutely amazing! I’ve ordered the platters on both occasions and it comes with hummus, pita, the meat, and salad. The staff is super friendly and will help you in your selection if you’re confused about what to order. There’s a nice little grocery and small items space attached to the restaurant. When I visited, they only took cash and I wish they’d start taking cards. But this is a must visit place if you’re in that area!”
