Want to work as a nurse in Massachusetts? The state of Massachusetts currently only offers permanent nursing licenses, and they are not part of the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), so you will need to obtain a permanent nursing license directly from the state of MA to work there. Massachusetts is not currently participating in the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) licensure exchange.
Temporary nursing licenses are currently not offered in the state of Massachusetts.
In order to get your permanent nursing license in the state of Massachusetts, you will need to apply to the state board and pay a fee of $275. Once all your application requirements are met, and if everything checks out, you will usually receive your permanent Massachusetts nursing license within 2-4 weeks.
