Tell us about yourself
I am (or at least I think I am) a very fun and outgoing person! I have a 3-year-old little boy, Carter, who is the light at the end of my tunnel and my best friend. I am very family-oriented with a great support system and could not ask for a better family. I am a dog-over-cat kind of guy and have a rescue dog, Stan, who we believe is about 6 or 7 now.
What do you do in your spare time?
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and living life on the edge. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over my years so far, it’s that life is too short to not be productive. Get out there and experience it!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment has been becoming a father, if you can’t tell by my pictures. 😊 We all go through rough stages in life and after I had Carter, he opened my eyes and gave me a whole new determination that I was struggling to come to terms with. He is and will always be my pride and joy and I definitely do it all for him!
What’s your favorite thing about working at trustaff and why?
trustaff has been amazing to me and my family. The camaraderie in our office is unbeatable and I know that every employee here, whether here in the Cincinnati office or out in the field, have my back. I’m proud to be a part of the team and I know I can build the rest of my future here.
What’s your best advice for travelers?
If there’s one tip I can give to travelers during this week, it’s to BE FLEXIBLE! The facility you’re traveling to is bringing you in to help fill some sort of void. So the schedule might not be perfect or they might seem understaffed, but at the end of the day, they’ve hired you because they really need your help. If you keep that in mind, it’s easier to be flexible and roll with the punches.
If you were a traveling nurse, where would your dream assignment be?
If I were a traveling nurse, I think I would head towards California. I love the lifestyle on the west coast and have some family out there I would love to visit. On top of that, the money is great! One of these days I will definitely be moving out west! (Hint, hint, next trustaff office? 😏)
Where is your favorite place to travel?
My favorite place to travel is probably Cancun, Mexico. It all started when my sister got married down there—it is SO beautiful. ? The accommodations, great service, and the views are amazing, bar none. I have been twice now and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try something new outside our country.
Each month, we invite a member of the trustaff team to take over our social media channels. #RecruiterTakeover is an inside look at the people who make trustaff such a great place to work.
It’s a great way to learn more about trustaff, get tips for your travel career, and most importantly, put some faces with the names and personalities you hear every day. See you next month!
