Traveler Tips: Your Advocate

When you officially join the trustaff family and head out on assignment, you’ll already be well-acquainted with your recruiter. But did you know there’s a whole team working behind the scenes to support you?

Join us as we give an inside look at some of the names and faces you may encounter before and during your time with trustaff.

Your Travel Advocate

Once you’ve landed the assignment of your dreams and head out the door for your first day at the facility, don’t be surprised if you start hearing from your travel advocate!

Each traveler has an advocate assigned to their team. Your advocate’s main responsibilities are to make sure things at the assignment are running smoothly and provide an extra set of helping hands.

They’re able to assist with certification renewals, troubleshoot timesheet issues, and generally be another source of support.

We’re your built-in problem solvers, communicators, and therapists.” – Cayce, Lead Travel Advocate

Your advocate works closely with your recruiter while you’re working at the facility so everyone stays on the same page, and can be a vital part of keeping the communication flowing.

Meet the Advocates

Your advocate plays an important role in streamlining communication between you and the rest of the trustaff team. There are currently five advocates on staff, and we’ve asked each of them to share 3 fun facts about themselves to help you get to know them a little bit better.

Cayce – Team Lead

“I have 4 pets – two cats and two dogs. I’ve traveled to 10 countries on 3 continents. I was a Division 1 college swimmer.”

“I lived in Sarasota, FL for 5 years. Bourbon is my drink of choice! I like to play in disc golf tournaments.”

“I have a German Shepherd named Tyson. I’m a vintage car and motorcycle enthusiast. I play golf at least once a week in the spring and summer.”

“I was on The Price is Right and made it to the Showcase Showroom. I hate cake and cupcakes. I’ve been skiing since I was 3.5 years old.”

“I was married on the beach in the Grand Caymans. I enjoy wine tasting… which is even more perfect when paired with really awful reality TV!”

Every trustaff traveler has an advocate. Not sure who your advocate is? Ask your recruiter who you’ll be hearing from! It helps to know who you will be in touch at each stage of your assignment.
