Tell us about YOU! Where are you from? Family? Friends? Pets?

Hello, πŸ‘‹ I’m Nick. I’m from San Antonio, Texas. I’ve traveled for 19 years and my friends are from Boston to San Francisco.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?

I love the thought of being able, as a team, to help all our patients with whatever is needed from all of us. It’s always a team effort.

What prompted you to start traveling?

My coworker in Texas traveled to Miami and it seemed like the way to go.

What was your first assignment like?

It was a new, exciting experience in Boston where I learned a lot.

What’s your favorite thing about traveling?

Meeting new staff members and making new friends along the way.

What is the most challenging part about traveling? How do you overcome it?

When in Rome do as they do. That alone is challenging, but as a traveler we always figure it out.

How many assignments have you taken and where?

Over 60 travel assignments from Boston to San Francisco. I’ve worked in Kansas, Virginia, South Carolina, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Connecticut, and Washington.

What advice would you have for someone who is thinking about starting their travel career?

Take a deep breath. One step at a time. See the whole United States. It’s beautiful out there and there is so much to do. Take pictures and show everyone how amazing your job is.
