Anesthesia Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the functionality and integrity of the anesthesia equipment

  • Monitoring patients' vitals, including their heart rate, oxygen levels and blood pressure, when they're under sedation

  • Keeping anesthesia carts supplied

  • Collaborating and communicating with other members of the patient's care team

  • Ensuring patients safely recover from sedation
