Travel Operating Room Tech Qualifications
To ensure our travel operating room techs have a solid foundation, we require one to two years of recent experience. Other basic professional requirements include:
Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 states
An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help others

OR Tech Job Description
An operating room tech is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment before, during and after surgical procedures. This job involves preparing all of the instruments and supplies that will be used during the procedure. By observing the surgery and providing the operating physicians with the correct tools at the right time, they can ensure the process runs smoothly from start to finish.
Other critical roles of this position include bringing patients into the operating room, monitoring the patient during the surgical procedure and preparing any robotic equipment if used. If you are a compassionate individual who is committed to patient safety, this position may be right for you.
