Travel Obstetrics and Gynecology Jobs

While you will be traveling to various facilities that may operate differently, your general responsibilities as an OB-GYN travel nurse will likely stay the same. As far as specific job duties go, OB-GYN travel nurses can:

• Take vitals for patient appointments

• Prepare patients for procedures, such as pelvic exams, mammograms and ultrasounds

• Assist the doctor with procedures or necessary duties as requested

• Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team

• Understand medical equipment and how to operate it

As a travel nurse, you will be stationed at a particular location for a limited time. We encourage you to explore your new city while you are there, enjoying your surroundings before moving on to the next assignment or deciding to extend at your current location.
