Want to work as a nurse in Georgia? The state of Georgia currently only offers a permanent nursing license option, so you'll need to apply for your permanent license. However, Georgia is part of the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). If you are currently licensed in another eNLC state, you are eligible to work in Georgia.
Temporary nursing licenses are not currently offered in the state of Georgia.
In order to get your permanent nursing license in the state of Georgia, you will need to apply to the state board and pay a fee of $75. Once all your application requirements are met, and if everything checks out, you will usually receive your permanent Georgia nursing license within 15 business days.
