New Hampshire Nursing License

New Hampshire Nursing License

Want to work as a nurse in New Hampshire? Whether you are looking to work as a travel nurse in New Hampshire, or you are looking for a permanent nurse job in NH, we usually suggest the same process. First, apply for your temporary license, and once you receive this you can start working and can apply for your permanent nursing license. New Hampshire is part of the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). If you are currently licensed in another eNLC participating state, you are eligible to work in New Hampshire without getting a NH nursing license.

Temporary New Hampshire Nursing License

In order to get your temporary nursing license in the state of New Hampshire, you will need to apply to the state board and pay a fee of $20. Usually upon submitting your application, if everything checks out, you will receive your temporary license. This NH temporary nursing license is valid for 120 days after the issue date, giving you plenty of time to complete the application process for your permanent license.

Permanent New Hampshire Nursing License

Once all your application requirements are met, and if everything checks out, you will usually receive your permanent New Hampshire nursing license within 4-6 weeks.
