Every nurse must apply for endorsement from the South Carolina State Board by submitting an application and temporary license fees.

Applicants should also submit a signed and dated photo, copies of their birth certificate, SSN card, license and nursing license, fingerprint cards and evidence of competency.
3. Maintain compliance
Once accepted, nurses should complete at least 30 hours of continuing education (CE) credits, work with an active medical practice and renew their license every two years.
